As our name suggests, the NCVPS Peer Tutoring Center’s core service is tutoring. Tutoring is available free of charge for all NCVPS students in a number of different courses. All NCVPS Tutors have completed at least one NCVPS course successfully and have received a recommendation from an NCVPS instructor.

Accessing Brainfuse

Tutoring sessions are hosted on Brainfuse, our secure tutoring platform provided by NCVPS. To access Brainfuse, click Brainfuse Online Tutoring on the left side of this window. Then, click Launch Brainfuse.

Schedule a Session

Currently, the Peer Tutoring Center has available tutors for most NCVPS courses. You will use Tutor Match to find a tutor. First, select a Topic (department), next select a Subject. Then, navigate through the calendar to see when tutors are available and to select one that meets your scheduling needs.

If you are a skilled student in a course that we are missing, please reach out to your NCVPS Teacher or your ELA (E-Learning Advisor) to ask for a recommendation to our Peer Tutoring Center.
