NCVPS Welcomes You

The purpose of this orientation is to get you familiar with the Canvas learning management system (LMS) and the basic guidelines to complete an NCVPS course successfully. You are in Canvas right now, and all of our courses are in Canvas.  Completing this orientation will give you a headstart on your NCVPS course.

Keep in mind that this is NOT your actual NCVPS course. This is an orientation in the Canvas environment that students can access before their classes begin. Other visitors are welcome to explore the orientation, as well.

If you are a current NCVPS student, this is the same Getting Started Unit that you will have to complete when you begin working in your course. If you would like to go ahead and complete the assignment before you get access to your course, visit the Getting Started Unit Assignment link, watch all the videos and follow the directions provided to complete the assignment. Please note: Your individual course will have a Getting Started Quiz requirement as it asks you to verify review of the course syllabus.
